Our Biohazard Cleanup Process

Inspect

Our biohazard remediation technicians are on call and on the scene quickly. Once we arrive, we will inspect the area and develop a custom remediation plan based on standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Remove Surface Contamination

After creating an action plan, we begin removing surface contamination, including bodily fluids and other hazardous materials, using industry-approved equipment and cleaning agents. This step is critical to prevent the spread of contaminants and bloodborne pathogens.

Salvage

We make every effort to salvage, disinfect, and safely restore any personal property affected by the biohazard incident. These items may include furniture, clothing, and other personal belongings.

Neutralize & Disinfect

Chlorine-based cleaners are generally ineffective in biohazard cleanup, not only because they allow toxins and odors to linger but because they can also damage surfaces.

Instead, we use CDC-approved disinfectants and deodorizing agents to treat any lingering pathogens and bacteria. Once complete, we will inspect and, if necessary, retreat both primary and secondary contamination zones, including molding, vents, fixtures, and switches.

Disposal

Any biohazardous waste created during the cleanup process is carefully packaged, labeled, and disposed of in accordance with regulatory guidelines and requirements.

Restoration

If the incident has damaged property or structures, our team will get to work repairing damaged walls, flooring, or any structural damage. Rest assured, we will restore your property to its pre-damaged condition.
